Musical Instrument Gift Day is celebrated in the United States each year.
Sponsored by the National Pawnbrokers Association and coinciding with St. Nicholas Day, (which commemorates the death of Nikolaos of Myra December 6, 343 AD), Patron Saint of pawnbroking, Musical Instrument Gift Day brings together the nation's pawnbrokers, local businesses and organizations to donate musical instruments to schools and children and need.
